“A must if you visit St Simons!!” - An absolutely wonderful tour that is worth every penny that you will pay for it. "Captain Rod" will keep you mesmerized with his rich knowledge of the history of the island and his fascinating story-telling skills. So much American history interwoven with personal, heart-warming stories of the people who made history here. I wish I had done it early in my stay here, instead of toward the end of our visit. It made me want to come back and explore more about this beautiful island. The comfortable, air-conditioned trolley ride is a nice break from walking in the weather also! Definitely two thumbs up!!
“The Best Thing Going in St. Simon” - The first and best thing we did on the island. Our tour guide was Rod, he did an exceptional job. We enjoyed the ride while hearing about the history of the island. Rod recommended places to shop and eat along the way and we were very pleased with all of the recommendations. Having been our first stop, it was good to get an insiders knowledge of the island, it's people, attractions, dining, and shopping. I could not have asked for more.
“Awesome Experience” - My friend and I took this trolley tour when we were visiting the area. It was a great experience. Rod was a very animated, exciting tour guide. He knew the history of the island very well. I would recommend this tour to anyone. PS: It has a/c!!!
“A fun experience for us all” - We recently took this sightseeing tour of a beautiful place. Our guide was knowledgeable of the history of the island and combined that with a great sense of humor and intensity for his work. The tour served as an orientation to this beautiful place and we spent the next days going back to the places touched on during the tour. We highly recommend this when visiting St. Simon's Island.
